  • Day 1: Welcome to Australia
    Get ready for your Australian adventure, and have a safe flight over to all of us 'Down Under'!
    Transfer to hotel on arrival.

  • Day 2: Arrival in Perth
    Spend time this morning exploring the city of Perth, including the beautiful Kings Park, where you can enjoy a view of the entire city as well as the Swan River and the Barrack St. Wharf.

  • Day 3: Fremantle
    Head off to explore Fremantle, a colonial city near Perth. Either take the train or cruise boat.

    Spend the afternoon walking around Round House and its famous prison, both constructed in the 19th century.

    If you have time, give the city market a visit too.

    Dinner along “Freo” wharf.

  • Day 4: Cycling Round Rottnest Island
    Next stop: Rottnest Island, 19km off the coast of Perth, cruise from the Barrack St Wharf.

    You'll be welcomed by the local 'quokkas' - small marsupials that are similar to kangaroos.

    Rottnest is the only place in the world where you'll find these friendly little creatures.

    The best way to tour the island is by cycling, and there are many coastal and inland tracks to follow. Accommodation: Rottnest Hotel (or similar)
  • Day 5: Return to Perth, Overnight in the City
    Direction: back to Perth! If you have time, a trip to the Botanical Garden is a must - you'll come face to face with hundreds of tropical plants existing solely in this part of the continent.

  • Day 6: Fly to Adelaide for a Safari
    Upon arrival, pick up your rental car at the airport.

    Then it's off to Kangaroo Island, the third largest island in Australia, famous for its parks: the Flinders Chase National Park, the Seal Bay Conservation Park and the Kelly Hill Park.

    Don't forget to take cameras, as you'll come across koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, emus, dolphins, seals, and echidnas, along with spectacular scenery.

  • Day 7: Flinder Chase National Park / Victor Harbour
    In this National Park, you'll find the legendary rocks and Admiral Arch, naturally sculpted rocks that the wind has turned into works of art.

    Take the ferry late afternoon back to the mainland.

  • Day 8: Victor Harbour – Hahndorf - Adelaide
    Visit Granite Island at Victor Harbour before driving to Hahndorf German village. View of Eagle on the Hill and Adelaide.

  • Day 9: Adelaide – Barossa Valley
    One hour drive to Barossa, visit Wolf Blass Winery, Campbells winery and the World-Famous Whispering Wall.

    Back to Adelaide late afternoon.

  • Day 10: Sydney
    Sydney has to be the ultimate symbol of Australia. Beyond Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, the city offers even more things to do and visit, for example Darling Harbour.

    Stop off in one of the many restaurants or stunning beaches near the city centre, e.g. Bondi, Coogee or Bronte!

  • Day 11: Strolling about Sydney
    Now's your chance to get to know the city a little bit better.

    Take a walk through the city centre, or head to the beach or cruise on the Harbour.

    Alternatively, The Rocks - the most antique block in the city - is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer (or chocolate milk for the little ones!)

  • Day 12: Eastern Suburbs
    Twenty minutes by bus from the city, you'll come across a coastal track leading to some of the most beautiful beaches in the city.

    Get on the hop on hop off to discover the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney including Bondi Beach and Paddington.

  • Day 13: Whale-watching
    Prepare for a boat trip that lasts 2-4 hours, during which you'll get to spot the noblest ocean animal of them all: the whale.

    They migrate to Sydney from around May to November.

    Don't worry if you're planning your holiday outside of this period - for the rest of the year, you'll see Sydney's playful dolphins instead!

  • Day 14: Towards Ayers Rock
    Uluru and the Olgas, both World Heritage Sites, are sandstone rock formations in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, in the middle of the Australian Outback!

    Watch closely - The Rock can change colour in the sunlight.

  • Day 15: Exploring Ayers Rock & the Olga’s
    Take a stroll through Uluru's base. There are several different walking tracks to choose from, the longest being 10 km. Drive to the cultural centre then the Olga’s. Back to sunset strip to watch the sunset.

  • Day 16: Kings Canyon
    Kings Canyon is made up of dome formations, cliffs and fantastic views of the surrounding desert.

    The track lasts 3-4 hours and starts with a steep hill that will bring you to the heart of the Canyon.

    We recommend stopping at 'The Garden of Eden,' a natural pool surrounded by lush vegetation; and 'The Lost City,' a maze of dome formations.

  • Day 17: Alice Springs
    Visit the Royal Flying Doctor base, Desert Park, Western McDonald Ranges. Dinner at Overlander Steackhouse.

  • Day 18: Travel to Cairns
    Fly to Cairns. Arrival transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 19: An Underwater World - Cairns Coral Reef Cruise
    Dive in with the sea turtles, and snorkel among Cairns' colourful corals, past hundreds of tropical fish - you'll feel like you've just jumped into a scene from Finding Nemo!

  • Day 20: Drive to Palm Cove
    Enjoy your resort.

  • Day 21: Kuranda Village and Skyrail
    Kuranda is a picturesque village on a hill in the middle of the rainforest.

    The panoramic rail will take you above rainfalls and gorges, whilst providing an incredible view over the rainforest up to where it meets the ocean.

    Within the village, visit the local market and the butterfly sanctuary.

  • Day 22: Sit Back and Relax in Palm Cove
    Spend your final day exploring the town and its busy markets, where you'll find fantastic examples of aboriginal art.
