Why a tailor made tour
Australia is a continent, not a country you can cross in an afternoon. Sydney to Perth is a five hour flight. Pack too much into too little time and you spend your holiday on planes and on the road. That is why we build your route around the time you actually have, and make sure each region comes up in its best season.
Australia and the Pacific in one trip
Many of our guests add a week in the Pacific to an Australia tour. The flight connections make it easy, and the contrast does you good: cities, outback and the Great Barrier Reef first, then quiet on an island. The two can be combined in a single booking.
When is the best time to travel
The tropical north around Darwin and Cairns is most pleasant during the dry season from May to October. The south, with Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania, is at its best between December and February. For the Red Centre and Uluru, the milder months from April to September are ideal. For the islands of the Pacific, roughly the same window applies as for northern Australia.
How your trip takes shape
You pick a travel idea you like, or simply write to us about what you would like to see. We come back with questions about timing, pace and budget, and then send you a worked out proposal with route, accommodation and price. Changes are a matter of course, until everything fits.
