DAY 1 – Adelaide

Welcome at the airport, transfer to hotel, welcome drinks with nibblies.

DAY 2 – Adelaide – Wilpena Pound (Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park)

Travel via scenic rural roads with stops in charming towns & South Australia Outback towns

DAY 3 – Wilpena Pound

Guided hike into the natural amphitheatre; optional relaxation. Campfire dinner with Indigenous Cultural theme.

DAY 4 – Wilpena Pound – Arkaroola

Remote 4WD journey into the Gammon Ranges to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary via Blinman to observe the amazing Australian Wildlife and ancient Rock Formation.

DAY 5 – Arkaroola

Optional Ridge Top 4WD tour to Sillers Lookout. Included tonight: astronomy tour with telescopes & guided bushwalks.

Desert travel to Maree via Copley. Visit the historic Ghan railway station.

Travel deeper into the Outback. Travel via Western boundary of Lake Eyre. Short break Coward Springs for a light snack. Follow the old Ghan Railway track. Scenic flight over Lake Eyre.

Arrive in the opal-mining town of Coober Pedy. Town tour including underground Church, pool & Opal cutting demonstration.

Scenic desert drive with photo stops through Kulgara, Erldunda, Mount Conner & Lake Amadeus
