Your flight from Singapore arrives at 00:55 (the next day) in Darwin. Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel, the Palms City Resort.

After a restful night, the day is at your disposal to acclimatize and explore the city. In the evening, a walk along the Darwin Waterfront or the sunset at Mindil Beach is recommended before you conclude the day at one of the local restaurants.

Today you have a free day to explore Darwin at your own pace. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the Darwin Botanic Gardens or visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory to learn more about the culture and history of the region. Those who love nature can also visit the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens or the East Point Reserve for a beautiful view of the coast.

For a little adrenaline rush, you can visit the Crocodile Park or Crocosaurus Cove to experience crocodiles up close. In the afternoon, you can explore Darwin Waterfront and relax in a café or restaurant.

In the evening, you should definitely visit the Mindil Beach Sunset Market, where you can taste local specialties, find handmade souvenirs and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Timor Sea.

The morning is still at your disposal in Darwin – perhaps for a leisurely stroll or a relaxed breakfast by the water. After landing in Alice Springs, you will pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation in the heart of the Red Centre.

Today you have time to explore Alice Springs individually. Visit the famous Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre and learn more about the flying doctors of the Outback. Also worth visiting are the Alice Springs Desert Park, the historic Telegraph Station, or a stroll through galleries featuring Aboriginal art. If you wish, you can end the day with a walk up Anzac Hill and enjoy views over the city and the surrounding MacDonnell Ranges.

After breakfast, you head towards Glen Helen. First, you explore the spectacular gorges of Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm in the West MacDonnell Ranges. With a bit of luck, you can spot rock wallabies on the rocks. Later, take a swim in the Ellery Creek Big Hole. In the Ormiston Gorge, the Ghost Gum Walk leads to beautiful spots.

From Glen Helen, you continue to Kings Canyon. Since you have a four-wheel drive vehicle, you follow the Merrenie Loop Road and keep an eye out for "brumbies", wild horses, wild camels, kangaroos and many other wildlife. The desert landscapes will impress you!

Kings Canyon is located in Watarrka National Park, approximately 300 km northeast of Uluru and 450 km southwest of Alice Springs. Watarrka National Park is home to over 600 endemic animal and plant species. Kings Canyon is characterized by 300 m high sandstone cliffs, hiking trails, crevices full of cycads, beautiful gorges and breathtaking views of the red desert. Follow the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, an ideal route for moderately fit hikers who want to admire the most beautiful panoramas of Kings Canyon. For less experienced hikers, the Kings Creek Walk is a good option, which leads to the center of the canyon.

If you still have energy and it doesn't get too hot, head to Kings Canyon today to do one of the hikes.

Drive to Kings Canyon in the morning and start the Rim Walk there in the fresh morning air, which offers you magnificent views of the Western Australia state border. After this easy hike, cross the Cycad Forest to cool off and see some of the oldest trees in the world.
Then continue on to Uluru. On the way, it's a good idea to have lunch at the Kings Creek Station.

Drive to your accommodation. Once you've rested, we suggest you drive to the Village. There you go to the Visitors Center, where you can pick up information and maps (in German). At the Visitors Center you will also learn which activities are offered during your stay. These activities are usually free. Today and tomorrow you have free time to explore the area around Ayers Rock (Uluru). Watch the sunrise and sunset and then drive to the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) for a hike into the Valley of the Winds.

Watch the sunrise and then drive to the Olgas (Kata Tjuta), which are 40 kilometers away from Uluru. for the hike into the Valley of the Winds. Maps and routes will be provided. A short walk to the dune viewpoint allows you to enjoy your surroundings and take in a spectacular panoramic view of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) - a sacred site for Aboriginal people.

Enjoy the spectacle of the rising sun reflecting in the impressive domes of Kata Tjuta against the backdrop of Uluru rock. This is probably the most beautiful spot in the entire park to watch the sunrise. Your day ends again with a spectacular sunset at Uluru.

Today it's time to say goodbye to the Outback: After breakfast, you'll have some time left at your accommodation near Uluru before you return your rental car at Ayers Rock Airport (AYQ). Upon arrival in Cairns, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred directly to your hotel in Port Douglas – a relaxing drive along the scenic coastal road awaits you.

Then your drive to the Atherton Tableland begins – a fertile highland with lush rainforests, waterfalls, and idyllic villages. Along the way, it's worth stopping at the famous Kuranda Markets or taking a ride on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway (optional). On your way to Atherton, you can also admire the picturesque Barron Falls or make a detour to Millaa Millaa Falls – one of Australia's most photographed waterfalls. Arrival in Atherton in the afternoon and check-in at your accommodation.

Today you will drive south from Atherton in your rental car towards Townsville. The route takes you through varied landscapes, past small towns and sugarcane fields. Once you arrive in Townsville, park your car safely near the ferry terminal and take the ferry across to Magnetic Island. After the short crossing, you will reach your island paradise, where you will spend the next two nights – surrounded by palm-lined beaches and typical Queensland wildlife.

Today you can explore Magnetic Island at your leisure, a paradise for animal lovers. Take a hike on the famous Forts Walk, where with a bit of luck you might spot wild koalas in the eucalyptus trees. Alternatively, secluded bays such as Horseshoe Bay or Radical Bay invite you to swim and snorkel. Perhaps you would also like to take part in a guided wildlife viewing or admire the colorful fish and turtles while snorkeling at Geoffrey Bay Rock Wall. Enjoy the day at your own pace, the island's nature is your constant companion.

After breakfast, you say goodbye to Magnetic Island and take the ferry back to Townsville. There you pick up your rental car from the parking lot and continue your journey along the coast. The drive takes you through the tropical landscape of North Queensland to Airlie Beach – the gateway to the spectacular Whitsunday Islands. After checking in at your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lively lagoon pool in the center or take a walk along the coastal promenade.

Today you'll shape the day entirely according to your wishes in Airlie Beach. Relax at the lagoon, stroll through the small boutiques or enjoy a coffee with a view of the turquoise sea. If you fancy a little adventure, I recommend a half-day sailing tour through the magnificent Whitsunday Islands. Experience white sandy beaches, hidden coves and crystal-clear water, perfect for snorkeling or simply relaxing on deck. You'll return to your accommodation in the late afternoon, with plenty of new impressions in your luggage.

Let's head to Rockhampton. An hour south of Airlie Beach are the beaches of Cape Hillsborough National Park, where you can spot kangaroos, bush turkeys and echidnas. Then continue on to Mackay, where you can eat at the 17 Marina. A leisurely stroll takes you to one of the city beaches, such as Lambert, Town, Illawong and Harbour. Shortly before Rockhampton, it is recommended to visit the Capricorn Caves – spectacular above-ground limestone grottos. If you still have energy, you can also visit the charming tropical village of Yeppoon for a coffee break.

After your arrival in Rockhampton, you can snorkel at Shelving Beach, Monkey Point or Clam Bay and stroll through the botanical gardens. Test Rockhampton on its reputation as Australia's beef capital and order a delicious steak for dinner!

Your next stop could optionally be the green city of Gladstone, surrounded by rainforest gorges, lakes and beaches that extend to the Great Barrier Reef. The journey then continues south through the picturesque beach town of Agnes Water and the town of Seventy Seventy, named after the year it was discovered by Captain Cook. Your next stop is the historic sugar cane town of Bundaberg. You may have also heard of Bundaberg Rum. In Bundaberg you stroll past colonial buildings. (Between November and March you can see the sea turtle tracks in the sand at Mon Repos Beach).
After your arrival in Hervey Bay, explore the city. The 17-kilometer-long beach promenade, which runs east from Gatakers Bay at Point Vernon to the Boat Club in Urangan, connects the Hervey Bay waterfront.
You can ride through shady coastal parks, take walks, sunbathe with an almost constant view of the coast and pass by cafés, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlors, souvenir shops, playgrounds and family attractions.
Almost everything is located directly on the Esplanade, along with a range of local amenities, from picnic areas to adventure playgrounds.
A sight that goes hand in hand with Hervey Bay is this historic wooden pier, which extends more than a kilometer into the Coral Sea.
The centerpiece of the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens is the Orchid House, which houses around 15,000 plants, including many orchid varieties that you have probably never seen before.

Today you'll discover the diverse natural wonders of K'gari. A highlight is a visit to the breathtakingly beautiful Lake McKenzie (Boorangoora). Enjoy a swim in crystal-clear freshwater and relax on the brilliantly white sandy beaches.

The tour then continues to Central Station, a former timber settlement in the heart of the island. A walk along the Wanggoolba Creek Boardwalk provides insight into the subtropical flora with ancient ferns and mighty gum and pine trees. A drive along the legendary 75 Mile Beach is an experience in itself: keep an eye out for dingoes, birds of prey, or (during the season from July to October) passing humpback whales.

After a relaxed morning in Melbourne, your excursion to Phillip Island begins around midday, a day full of nature, animals and spectacular coastal landscapes. The exact departure time varies depending on the season so you arrive in time for the highlight of the day.

First, you visit the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. In this lovingly managed sanctuary, you have the opportunity to see many Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, emus and dingos up close – some even allow you to feed or pet them.

Afterwards, you continue on to the Nobbies, a rugged headland with breathtaking views of the sea and offshore rocky islands where seal colonies gather. Here you experience the raw beauty of the south coast up close.

In the evening, an unforgettable finale awaits: the famous Penguin Parade. Every evening at sunset, hundreds of little penguins return from the sea to land to make their way back to their protected nests in the dunes. You can observe this natural spectacle in complete peace from a specially designed visitor platform.

Your first stop on your way takes you to Torquay, the birthplace of Australian surfing. Here you can visit the famous Bells Beach, one of the world's most renowned surf beaches, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the vast ocean on a walk along the cliffs.

You should also definitely drive to the golf course in Anglesea. Many groups of kangaroos actually live wild here. For just $20 per person, a volunteer from the golf club will take you around in a golf buggy to admire the kangaroos up close.

You continue along the coast and drive through the idyllic landscape of Otway National Park, which enchants you with its dense forests and lush green hills. On the way to Apollo Bay, you can stop at the Split Point Lighthouse and the beautiful beaches of Aireys Inlet. A short stop at Lorne Pier gives you the opportunity to admire the picturesque coast from a different perspective. The charming village of Lorne is known for its Victorian architecture and is an ideal place for a coffee break.

On your journey you also pass by Kennet River Caravan Park, where koalas hang everywhere in the trees. You will also find many parrots there.

Well-marked walking trails lead through the reserve, perfect for observing kangaroos, emus, koalas and many bird species in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck, you'll encounter the animals up close.

Back in Port Fairy, you can spend the day relaxing at the harbor or on one of the spacious beaches. If you wish, take a walk along the coast or enjoy fresh sea air with a coffee overlooking the ocean.

After breakfast, the journey continues to Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians National Park. The drive passes through open landscapes before the distinctive sandstone cliffs of the Grampians appear on the horizon. Halls Gap, a small town surrounded by impressive mountains, is the ideal starting point for discovering the nature and wildlife of the region.

In the afternoon, there is time for an initial exploration tour. A walk to Venus Baths offers a pleasant introduction to the landscape of the Grampians – along a picturesque path are flat pools of water that have formed between the rocks. Alternatively, the short climb to Boroka Lookout is worthwhile, from which a spectacular view stretches across the valley. At dusk, kangaroos and cockatoos can often be spotted near the town before the day winds down relaxingly in one of the small lodges or restaurants in Halls Gap.

The Grampians National Park impresses with its distinctive sandstone mountains, deep gorges and expansive eucalyptus forests. The region, known to indigenous peoples as Gariwerd, is rich in history and home to numerous rock paintings that testify to the long culture of the Aborigines. Visitors can learn more about the traditions and spiritual significance of the Grampians at various locations while exploring the pristine nature.

With a bit of luck, visitors can also observe colorful parrots and cockatoos. After an eventful day, the small restaurants and accommodations in Halls Gap invite you to end the evening in a relaxed manner.

Drive to Mount Gambier, where you can see the Blue Lake, which contains one of the craters of an extinct volcano and mysteriously turns turquoise blue during the summer months. Drive around the Blue Lake on a 3.6 km scenic drive. If you take the coastal road, it is recommended to take a break at the Glenelg River. Stop to visit the Tantanoola Caves (halfway between Mount Gambier and Robe).

On the way there is the Canunda National Park with huge sand dunes and the remains of Aboriginal camping sites. End the day in the seaside resort of Robe, where you can taste seafood and local wines or have a coffee and stroll along the sea.

Drive north along the Coorong to take the walk to the pelican observatory at Jack Point and enjoy the views.

Drive via Meningie to Wellington, where you can take a ferry across Australia's largest river, the Murray River.

Victor Harbor is a beautiful holiday destination on the Fleurieu Peninsula, where you can find spectacular surf beaches and secluded white sand beaches.

In the morning, the journey begins from Victor Harbor to Cape Jervis, along the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. The road leads through gentle hills, past wineries and vast pastures, before reaching Cape Jervis, the ferry port to Kangaroo Island. The approximately 45-minute crossing offers, with a bit of luck, first encounters with dolphins or seabirds. Upon arrival in Penneshaw, the rugged beauty of the island unfolds with its jagged coastlines, pristine beaches and extensive national parks.

The day on Kangaroo Island is all about nature and wildlife. A visit to Seal Bay offers the opportunity to observe a colony of Australian sea lions up close, while in Flinders Chase National Park, the impressive Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch await on spectacular coastal sections. Kangaroos, koalas and colorful bird species can be discovered all over the island. After an eventful day, the evening winds down in one of the accommodations on the island – perhaps with a glass of local wine and fresh seafood as the perfect finale.

Take a guided beach walk in the midst of a colony of rare and wild Australian sea lions with a ranger from the national park at Seal Bay Conservation Park. Observe these wild animals up close as they frolic and lounge around - a truly amazing and unforgettable experience. After a delicious two-course menu, you spend the afternoon in Flinders Chase National Park.

Keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and koalas as you travel through the park. Admire the rugged coastline on walks around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.

The Remarkable Rocks offer great photo opportunities, and the Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face and reveals the spectacular rock arch, a natural nursery and refuge for playful long-nosed fur seals. Your final visit of the day is to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, where you can feed friendly kangaroos and observe Kangaroo Island koalas up close while the zookeeper tells you about the cuddly mammals.

The morning begins with the fresh sea breeze of Kangaroo Island. Depending on the ferry's departure time, there is still time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the island – for example, on a last walk on the beach, a visit to the sea lions at Seal Bay, or a short detour to Emu Bay or a local honey farm.

Then it's back to Penneshaw, from where the ferry returns to the mainland. The journey continues through the gentle hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula – a region full of vineyards, olive groves, and beautiful coastal sections. A stop in McLaren Vale is recommended for a light lunch or wine tasting.

Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is known for its relaxed atmosphere, elegant colonial architecture, and location between the Adelaide Hills and the sea. Major attractions include the Adelaide Oval, one of Australia's most beautiful cricket and sports stadiums, as well as the extensive Botanic Garden with its Victorian greenhouses. The South Australian Museum and the Art Gallery of South Australia on North Terrace offer fascinating insights into Aboriginal culture, natural history, and art. The Central Market is among the largest and oldest market halls in Australia and is a must for food enthusiasts. Adelaide is also considered a gateway to famous wine regions such as the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, which gives the city a special culinary charm.

From Adelaide, numerous worthwhile day trips can be undertaken, such as to Kangaroo Island with its unique wildlife or to the picturesque Adelaide Hills with charming villages like Hahndorf. Wine lovers should definitely visit wineries in the Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale, where world-class wine tastings are offered. The city itself invites extended walks along the Torrens River or at the beaches of Glenelg, which are easily accessible by historic tram. Culinarily, Adelaide delights with fresh, regional products, vibrant restaurants, and a burgeoning craft beer scene.
